A planning session was held in May 2012 during which it was concluded that the 'Food Choices' session in June would be an ideal first session to teach PDC students, due to the fact they
- It is a subject I have reasonable knowledge of
- It is a good subject to generate discussion amongst the group
- I have built up a good relationship with the students over the duration of the PDC, and a supportive environment has been fostered throughout, which helps to take away some of the fear factor of teaching a new subject.
